MySpace ให้บริการ Instant Messaging

MySpace ประกาศแล้วว่าจะให้บริการ Instant Messaging ของตัวเองในชื่อ MySpaceIM ซึ่งเป็นช่วง Beta หรือช่วงทดสอบจากที่เคยเปิดให้ลองใช้แบบ soft-launched มาแล้วปีกว่าด้วยฐานสมาชิกกว่า 180 ล้านคนและ social networking site อีกกว่า 17 ล้านไซต์
แน่นอนว่าคู่แข่งสำคัญก็คงหนีไม่พ้น Yahoo Instant Messenger, Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger, และ AOL Instant Messenger แต่ MySpaceIM หวังจะใช้ฐานของสมาชิกที่มีอยู่แล้วพร้อมเน้นให้บริการที่ใช้ร่วมกันกับเว็บไซต์ของสมาชิกได้และมีฟีเจอร์รองรับคอนเทนต์มัลติมีเดียแบบหนักๆได้เช่นแชร์รูปแบบคลิ๊กวาง เล่นเพลง ดูวีดิโอ และพอสมาชิกมีข้อความใหม่ในเว็บไซต์ มีเพื่อนใหม่ หรือใครส่งอะไรมาให้มันก้จะมาแสดงที่ MySpaceIM ทันที
